Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) is a critical part of your building design. For us it is both an art and a science. We make sure equipment is sized appropriately for each space to keep it comfortable and to maintain a good indoor air quality (IAQ). We calculate the heat loss and gain from each room of your building - considering windows, walls, occupants, and fresh air requirements. We determine how much fresh air you need - often utilizing heat recovery ventilators (HRVs) to capture the heat from the exhaust and re-introduce it to the building. We also try to design tastefully.
