Photo 2015-06-16, 9 39 25 AMThe Elkford Aquatic Centre has a pool with 4-lanes of swimming and a beach front access, slide, and whirlpool. Delta-T provided engineering for the renovation of their mechanical systems for the natatorium. The goal of the project was to replace aging equipment, increase efficiency, and decrease emissions. A new high-efficient air handling unit was provided that also provides dehumidification for the pool room. The energy from the exhaust air stream and dehumidification processes are then recaptured and used to heat the pool water. New high-efficient furnaces were also specified throughout the facility.
