About Us – Kelowna Mechanical Engineers

Delta-T Consultants Ltd. is a Kelowna-based mechanical engineering firm that offers full mechanical engineering services to the building industry. The firm is privately owned and committed to providing efficient and cost-effective solutions. Project experience varies from hotels to commercial pools to healthcare facilities to kitchens.

The expertise, experience and work ethic of its employees are what makes Delta-T Consultants successful. The design team of Delta-T encompasses over 40 years of mechanical engineering design in the Okanagan Valley. Key personnel are listed below:

Eric Schredl

Eric Schredl, P.Eng.

Eric Schredl is the owner and operator of Delta-T Consultants. A graduate of the University of Victoria, Eric has extensive experience in the building engineering field.

Erik Larson, P.Eng.

Erik Larson is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan.  His 15+ years of experience varies from fire protection design to commercial swimming pools and building HVAC.

Cathy Chen, P.Eng.

Cathy is an integral part of Delta-T and has been since its inception. Cathy holds a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, QC. She has local and international experience in mechanical building design, including LEED certified buildings. Cathy also performs Energy Modelling for Step Code Compliance.

Grant McGinn, P.Eng.

Grant joined Delta-T Consultants in 2016. Grant is a mechanical engineer who graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Aeronautic Engineering. It’s nice to have a rocket scientist on staff…

Chris Kroening

Chris comes from a construction management background with design experience in multi-family and commercial buildings.

Robert Marconato

Robert Marconato has extensive building mechanical design experience from the lower mainland. He specializes in fire protection systems.
